Intuition is a powerful aspect of human cognition. It refers to our ability to understand or know something without the need for reasoning or analysis. It's often described as a "gut feeling" or a sense of knowing that comes from within. Intuition plays a crucial role in decision-making, problem-solving, and creativity.
Intuition has interested me ever since I met my psychic healer, who makes predictions based on his intuition. The longer I got into sobriety, the more I realized that my intuition was getting stronger the longer I was sober. Intuition also directly connects to the third eye chakra, and the theme of this Module in the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is "I am intuitive."
Intuition is connected to the third eye chakra, which is called ajna and located at the space between the eyebrows. When our third eye chakra is out of balance, we might experience:
feeling that life is meaningless
anxiety or depression
can't hear your inner voice
can't find your purpose in life
difficulty concentrating and scattered thoughts
frequent headaches and sinus problems
problems with eyes or vision
desire more light in life
striving for higher realization
